8 DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI ITINERARY

DAY 1 & 2: Arusha-Tarangire

After breakfast drive onward to the Tarangire national park with a picnic lunch. Countless elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, hartebeest, and eland crowd shrinking lagoons, the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, and a veritable smorgasbord for and other large predators. DAY 3: Tarangire-Manyara NP-Karatu

After breakfast drive to Mto wa mbu a small village nestled on the floor of the great rift valley escarpment And experience the local interaction of the 120 local tribes which are all represented in this area, Walk through the banana plantation and stop for your local lunch prepared by local indigenous women. Afternoon drive to the farmhouse for Dinner and Overnight.Farm house

DAY 4-5: Karatu-Serengeti National Park (central west/east)

Breakfast at the lodge and proceed to Serengeti through the Ndutu plains. The next two days will be spent exploring the Serengeti habitats from the plains dotted with kopjes, riverine, woodlands, valleys, and swamps for the big cats, lion, leopard, and cheetah other sightings may include elephant giraffe, jackal, baboons, birds, and warthog. Dinner and overnight Tortillis camp.

Activities: Game viewing, balloon safari.

DAY 6: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater

Morning walking safari in Serengeti Escorted by a park ranger then back to the camp and after proceed to Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight Serena hotel.

Activities: Game viewing, Maasai visit.

DAY 7: Ngorongoro-Eyasi

After breakfast depart for a game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. Explore the area's habitat from the forest, swam, riverine, water pools, and grass plains, looking for the famous black mane lion and endangered black rhino. Other sightings may be a golden jackal, spotted hyena, hippos, and the beautiful majestic crowned crane. Dinner and overnight Eyasi safari lodge.

DAY 8: Eyasi-Maasai Activities-Arusha

You will depart in the early morning and drive to the Bushmen area and go hunting with them (these are the only people in Tanzania whose life fully depends on hunting and gathering. You will walk behind them and see how they shoot their animals by using bows and arrows, then see how they skin them, roast them and eat. You will continue to the lodge for lunch then drive back to Arusha.
