Climbed Ol doinyo lengai last week with Abraham as my guide
Abraham will be more than a guide to you. I was petrified after reading blogs and reviews about the hike being super difficult. But when I met abraham he just relaxed me down and said we will do it. And that immediately set the tone for my adventure because I knew i was with a friend who will have my back if anything happens. He is super helpful, extrememly knowledgable and doing his best at what he does. Consider him your friend instead of your guide and he will give you the best experience. Contact him directly through whatsapp as I did. I am sure you wont regret. (+255 783 119 784)

This week we climbed Ol Doinyo Lengai as a couple with Abraham as our guide.
A true Maasai, with over 200 climbs on the mountain. We could not have wished for a better guide. Abraham was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He can answer every question you have about the environment and he will definitely make sure you are cared for during the climb and during your stay at the wonderful guest house on the slope of the Rift Valley, overseeing Lake Natron and the active volcano. Additionally, during the whole experience you take a deep dive into Maasai Culture. The guest house is very local, including the food and the community. The hospitality reaches very high. Also, a share of your expenses are used to support the community in a sustainable way. The climb itself is not something to underestimate. We climbed it in 6 hours at night. Depending on the weather, we were able to see the entire milky way. The hike was really tough, but like Abraham told us: the view on top will make you forget about the trip. You can see the red lava if you reach it before sunrise. Also, the Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru can be seen. At the break of dawn you will be able to see the entire crater with amazing panoramic views of the surrounding nature. The volcano spits black lava continuously with some shorts breaks. You can hear, see, feel and smell (unfortunately ;)) it when you reach the top. Unforgettable experience. To end with some tips. It can become cold. Make sure you dress warm. Bring snacks. Buy them before you reach Engare Sero (limited choices). We departed from Arusha. We recommend to take a car/bus/coach to mto wa mbu, depending on your budget. From their a cruiser is really recommended due to the rough road. This can be quite pricy. Otherwise take the loliondo coach (tickets are sold online and at the offices). Do it in advance, as they can be full. Reach Abraham on instagram: @mollelabraham7 or whatsapp: +255 783119784 to arrange this extreme but wonderful activity.

Abraham, I can't thank you enough for being such an incredible person.
Meeting you and becoming friends has been a true blessing. I'm beyond grateful for the unforgettable time we shared and for your warm hospitality throughout. Though our time was short, it left a lasting impression on me. Looking forward to joining you on the Ol Doinyo trip someday. For anyone considering a trip to Tanzania, reaching out to Abraham is a must. As a local Masai born and raised inside the park, his knowledge of the area is unparalleled. Just let him know your budget, and he'll take care of the rest. And those reviews? Absolutely on point. I wholeheartedly recommend him! (Abraham’s Number: +255783119784)

It was a great experience to walk with Abrahm and he’s your go to person in Engare Sero.
Me and my husband did a very nice tour with Abraham. Together we walked from our campsite to the Flamingo view piont at lake Natron and then down to the lake. Abraham is a really knowledgeable Guide with whom you will enjoy talking everything about Masai Culture, the Plains and the Eift Valley.

The stay was great! You will blend in in the community during your stay and you’ll eat local food. The climb is hard, but when you are on the top you will release that it was al worth it.

Climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai with Abraham was an unforgettable challenge, steeped in both physical demands and spectacular views. As a guide, Abraham was pivotal, offering encouragement and expertise that propelled us to the summit. Despite the tough ascent, the reward was unparalleled: breathtaking views atop the "Mountain of God." Abraham's presence transformed the daunting hike into an achievable, memorable feat, marking it as one of the toughest yet most rewarding experiences I have done in my life.

Climbing the Ol Doinyo Lengai was very challenging
Climbing the Ol Doinyo Lengai was very challenging, but absolutely worth the effort! Abraham and James were great guys & guides. Thanks for your patience, bringing my family safe to the top, while I enjoyed the marvelous view 60m below the rim, and baring with the slow(er) pace of the less young in our party😉. Other visits around Lake Natron were also great. We highly recommend your services.
